At FBC Kids, we create a fun, safe, and loving space where children from birth through 5th grade can learn and grow in their faith. Your child’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. That’s why all our volunteers are carefully background-checked and trained to nurture your child’s spiritual and developmental journey. 

We are passionate about sharing the love of Christ with every child. Through engaging activities, exciting lessons, and meaningful connections, we offer weekly opportunities for kids to grow in their faith and discover God’s love in a way that’s just right for them.

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! You’ll see everything from jeans and sneakers to suits and dresses. Whether you like to dress up or keep it casual, just come as you are – we are happy to have you!

Absolutely!

We have elevator access to both our sanctuary and education building to ensure everyone can move around comfortably. If you need assistance, just pull into our alleyway on Dale Street, and our security team will be happy to help. We want everyone to feel welcome and at home here!

At First Baptist Church of Shelby, we strive to make your visit as convenient and welcoming as possible. 

Here’s what we offer to ensure a smooth arrival on Sunday mornings: 

Reserved Visitor Parking: We reserve spaces specifically for visitors directly in front of the church on North Lafayette Street. These spots are marked for easy access and ensure you’re steps away from the main entrance. 

Additional Parking: Our primary parking lot is located at the corner of North Lafayette and Sumter Street, offering ample space for members and guests. 

Golf Cart Shuttle Service: For added convenience and safety, we provide a golf cart shuttle service for all ages from the parking lot to the sanctuary. Our friendly drivers are ready to assist anyone in need, ensuring you arrive comfortably and safely.
