Music Makers and Young Musicians - "Technicolor Promise" - May 2006Announcing HEARTSONG!
For Preschoolers through 5th Graders
Building a Soundtrack for REAL Life

Begins September 3.
In a consumerism-obsessed society, our children are inundated with messages that draw them into a self-focused, materialistic lifestyle. The preschoool and children's music ministry at First Baptist Church seeks to build a "soundtrack" in the minds and hearts of children that will act as a counterweight to the pull of worldly materialism. Through music, we will plant words of scripture and messages of God's love, and we will help children begin to understand how music is used in worship, missions, and ministry.
We warmly welcome all children to be a part of our children's choir ministry on Wednesdays, 6:00-6:40 PM (followed by HeartCenter and Mission Friends, 6:45-7:30 PM.) A family fellowship dinner is offered at 5:30 PM in the Dover Activities Center. The cost is only $4.50 for adults and $2.00 for children. Call the church office for reservations (704-482-3467).
