The Child Development Center is a state licensed facility offering year-round care, Monday through Friday, for children ages 6-weeks to pre-kindergarten.

Mother’s Morning Out is a Christian childcare program that runs during the school year on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for pre-kindergarten and Monday, Wednesday, Friday for toddlers through three-year-olds.

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, we will follow the Shelby School zone schedule. Call the Child Development Center at 704-482- 3460 for late openings and closings or listen to the following stations for the County School closing information:

Want to Help Raise Funds for Our School Every Time you Buy Groceries?
We have joined with Harris Teeter and Ingles in their "Together In Education" programs to help raise funds for our school and it is time to RE-LINK your cards! The Together in Education program re-launches on August 1 for the 2011-2012 school year.
Each time you shop at Harris Teeter or Ingles, a portion of your total grocery purchases will be donated to FBC-CDC. You will be linked for the entire year. Thanks for your support!

Weekday Childcare at First Baptist Shelby is located on the lower level of our main building. Our entrance is located off Dale Street next to our playground.
