Mother's Morning Out

The purpose of First Baptist Church Mother’s Morning Out is to provide a Christian atmosphere for the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of your child.

Hours and Ages

Mother's Morning out operates during the regular school year, late August through May.  Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Children 8-23 months can enroll for 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
2-year-olds and 3-year-olds can enroll for 3 days a week or 4 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Pre-Kindergarteners can enroll for 4 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

Curriculum and Daily Activities

Our curriculum is designed to help lay a strong foundation for faith development in each child.   Concept areas include God, Jesus, Bible, church, self, family, others, community, and the natural world. Daily activities will include an early morning devotional, inspirational stories and songs.  Our schedule is designed to strike a balance between self-directed and teacher guided activities and to implement periods of relative quite and rest after periods of active play.  Children are given opportunities to learn through creative art, music, dramatic play, block building, science discovery, number concepts, water and sand play, field trips and visitors, food experiences, and language development.
